| I love the Braveheart
theme. The melody touches my very soul. The refrains have a
haunting melancholy, building in crescendo to a passionate expression of
emotion, a feeling of overcoming while the underlying strains of
melancholy come through...smiling with ever-present tears in one's
heart. It is living life with SPS. I persevere, I overcome,
but I always live with the "haunting."
A descriptive gerund for me would be yearning. Yearning for elusive change, yearning for bygones, for things lost, yearning for my future, for hope that will be. I will never achieve inner unity; happiness with tears; always in the fight, never losing, never winning. Yearning. The music from this song expresses many feelings in my heart. I am whole but incomplete, captive but free. My life is a dichotomy. I relate to the musical emotion of this song and the appropriate title...Braveheart. It sings...me. Sharing a thought.
