"The time will come when, with elation, you will greet yourself arriving at your own door, in your own mirror, and each will smile at the other's welcome and say, sit here. Eat. You will love again the stranger who was yourself. Give wine, Give bread. Give back your heart to itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life. Whom you ignored for another, who knows you by heart." ~ Derek Walcott ~
I am an avid student of life and discover daily nuances to embrace. Life is never-ending lessons and blessings for me. I worship my Savior, Jesus Christ, cherish my family, and consider my friends beloved. I am many things: a mother, daughter, woman, and individual. Born a nature girl, I thrive in the outdoors. My style - barefoot in the grass instead of pumps on asphalt. Words are magical for me and a deep passion. Reading has been a life-long hobby. My musical tastes are eclectic. People intrigue me. Uniqueness draws me. I have a deep appreciation for written and musical expression. I have been blessed/cursed (Depends on whom you ask!) with an ornery sense of humor and laugh often. My physical endeavors fluctuate on a daily basis at the whim of my disorder, Stiffman/Stiff Person Syndrome. I am continually learning patience while living flexibility. Solitude has always been a welcome solace for me, but I also love social interaction. The greatest blessings in my life are to love and be loved. I am fulfilled. Life is a treasure.

The sense of the world is short, ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson ~
May today gift you with one memory worth reliving, one thing to bring a smile, the chance to share love, and the wisdom to recognize opportunity.
Until you make peace with who
you are, you will never be content with what you have. If you believe in the Lord, He
will do half the work: the last half. "Reach
high, for stars lie hidden in your soul."
